On July 21st,2017 the movie Dunkirk was in theaters; it is a film directed by Christoper Nolan and focuses on the subject of World War 2, the biggest turning point that shaped the world.
The movie is shot in various countries, this movie will have you at the edge of your seat and focusing on the history behind the film and make you pay actual attention to the story.
Here is the synopsis of the film.
In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk.Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British,Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.
The cast included Harry Styles, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Fionn Whitehead and Jack Lowden; I was honored to see it on the 21st of July on the day it was released in theaters and I have to say that it was truly amazing and that i was very impressed. It had been the first time i have every watched a Christopher Nolan movie and i have to say that it was truly incredible.
Harry did an incredible job in the film and i was truly amazed at his skills, i am very proud of him and so am i proud of the rest of the cast, it was nice to see the history of world war 2 come alive and have a better understanding and perspective of what the soldiers went through; i am super grateful for their sacrifices to make america free.
If you haven't got a chance to see the film, I highly recommend that you go see the film before it is no longer in theaters and before you have to wait for it to come out on DVD; you will truly be amazed like i was and won't be disappointed, it is number 1 and sources say that this movie would possibly and truly get nominated for an academy award and maybe a Grammy award you'll never know; all i can say is great job on this film it really had me at the edge of my seat and truly impressed.
